InSight moves toward expansion in eastern U.S.

Imaging services provider InSight Health Services has signed an agreement to acquire the majority of the mobile imaging business assets of CDL Medical Technologies of Wexford, PA. The planned purchase includes 14 MRI scanners, four PET units, and one lithotripsy system.

The systems operate in nine states in the eastern U.S., according to InSight of Lake Forest, CA. The deal, which is expected to close in early July, is subject to customary closing conditions and consent of InSight's lenders.
