The American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) reported that 47% of the radiology administrators who took its Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) examination on August 3 this year received a passing score.
There are currently 550 CRAs in the U.S., according to the Sudbury, MA-based AHRA.
In related news, the organization announced that the next CRA examination will be administered in computer-based format on March 3, 2007, at approximately 125 CompUSA Testing Centers located in 34 states. Applications to sit for the exam are due to the AHRA by January 29, 2007.
Further information about the credentialing program is available by calling the AHRA offices at 978-443-7591, or online at the association's Web site.
