Imaging services provider ImageLink has hired a number of executives from defunct imaging services provider Smart Choice MRI.
Smart Choice MRI launched in 2015 and offered MRI exams directly to patients at a price at $600 or less. The company closed its doors at the end of 2020, however, with its imaging centers snapped up by other providers.
Former Smart Choice MRI CEO Rick Anderson and other executives from the company have joined ImageLink, and they are spearheading a new customer-driven business strategy at the company. The new model offers the convenience of accessible retail locations, easier scheduling, more cost-effective scans, according to ImageLink.
Currently, ImageLink manages 14 centers across Georgia and Ohio, and it has begun the first step of its expansion plan with a 15th location in Florida.
