South Charleston, WV-based WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals has partnered with Associated Radiologists Inc. (ARI) for exclusive onsite radiology and advanced medical imaging services, effective September 5.
Thomas Hospitals previously contracted with Kanawha Valley Radiologists, which was recently incorporated into ARI, WVU Medicine said.
As part of the new partnership, Thomas Hospitals and ARI plan to incorporate 3-tesla MRI, additional CT scanners, and advanced PET imaging techniques to better serve patients with breast, genitourinary, lung, and colorectal cancers, as well as cardiac, musculoskeletal, pediatric, and pulmonary conditions.
