Attendance at the 2004 edition of the RSNA conference edged up in most categories compared to 2003 attendance figures.
According to preliminary unaudited numbers from the Oak Brook, IL, society, total attendance at this year's meeting was 59,895, up 2% from the unaudited 2003 final attendance figure of 58,962 attendees.
The RSNA's early figures also show that professional attendance for this year's show was 26,401 -- a 4% increase compared to 2003 preliminary unaudited numbers of 25,469 professional attendees.
Exhibitor attendance nudged up slightly from last year, with preliminary 2004 figures of 27,722, compared to 27,620 exhibitors in 2003. Guest registrations, at 5,772, dipped 2% compared to unaudited attendance of 5,873 at the 2003 conference, according to the RSNA.
