Dr. Bruce Hillman has been named editor in chief of the Journal of the American College of Radiology, a new publication the ACR plans to launch in 2004. Hillman is the chairman of the department of radiology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville. He is also the Theodore E. Keats professor at the university and is a chancellor of the Reston, VA-based ACR.
The journal will focus on medical decision-making, practice management, and other socioeconomic issues. The JACR will be a monthly, peer-reviewed publication.
