Marie Zinninger, former associate executive director of the American College of Radiology, has been appointed as ACR liaison to the National Cancer Advisory Board (NCAB).
The NCAB committee consults with the director of the National Institutes of Health on such matters as the review and recommendation of support grants and cooperative agreements.
Zinninger’s term will begin immediately; she is expected to attend the NCAB meeting in Washington, DC in June. She recently retired from the ACR after a 25-year career with the Reston, VA-based organization.
