Siemens Medical Solutions veteran Tom Miller has been named president and CEO of Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services. Miller, who will oversee the Erlangen, Germany-based vendor's healthcare information technology business worldwide, most recently served as vice president, business development, for Siemens Medical Solutions in Erlangen.
Prior to rejoining Siemens, Miller was president and CEO of Carl Zeiss as well as Analogic and also was a co-founder of LightLab Imaging. He served 15 years in his initial tenure at Siemens.
Miller takes over his new post from Frank Lavelle, who became president of enterprise sales and marketing of the customer solutions group (CSG) of Siemens Medical Solutions.
