Infrared imaging technology provider OmniCorder Technologies reported that president and CEO Mark Fauci has left the company.
The firm's board of directors has begun a search for a new CEO, according to the East Setauket, NY-based vendor. Until a replacement is found, day-to-day operations will be overseen by William Abajian, a full-time special consultant. Board member Dr. Michael Davis will guide the strategic direction of the company, OmniCorder said.
In other news, the company said that it has closed a $1.5 million financing package in the form of convertible preferred stock that was funded by both board members and large shareholders.
