Longtime Analogic chairman Bernard M. Gordon has stepped down from the position, making way for Edward Voboril to take the helm at the Peabody, MA, company.
Voboril was elected to succeed Gordon following the company's January 28 shareholders meeting. Gordon served as chairman from 1969 to 2004 and again from 2006 to 2007.
Voboril has been an Analogic director since 1990 and serves on several Analogic board committees. He currently is also chairman of Clarence, NY-based Greatbatch, which develops, designs, and manufactures components for implantable medical devices.
