Machine data analytics firm Glassbeam has launched the Glassbeam Technical User Group (GTUG), a group designed to create an industry-wide knowledge base.
GTUG aims to help healthcare organizations improve patient care by ensuring minimal disruption in operations due to unplanned downtimes of MRI and CT machines. The group also intends to create a best practices knowledge base on why medical machines fail with the aid of detection algorithms and early warning patterns embedded in machine log data.
Andrew Kenney, services director at Brown's Medical Imaging and Vivek Sundaram, senior director of technical operations at Glassbeam will co-chair GTUG. Eventually, the group plans to be composed of advanced specialists from places such as the University of California, San Francisco Health; Baylor Scott & White Health; Brown's Medical Imaging; Renovo Solutions, and Agiliti Health.
Group members will offer their expertise through white papers, solution notes, and case studies, Glassbeam said.
