Skyscape, Satellife refit PDAs for African doctors

Medical reference software provider Skyscape is teaming up with global health information network Satellife to give new life to old personal digital assistant (PDA) computers.

The firms have launched a program in which they are accepting donations of old PDAs. The computers are then refitted with medical reference software and are donated to doctors in Africa.

The program began December 1, 2004. To donate a used PDA, visit Skyscape's Web site.
