Video from ISMRM: Kate Hanneman on MRI equipment sustainability

HONOLULU – In a video interview at the annual meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM), Kate Hanneman, MD, of the University of Toronto, discussed the importance of using MRI equipment in a way that not only reduces the modality's energy consumption but also shortens workflows and improves patient care.

Hanneman was one of three panelists and part of a group of industry representatives who participated in the conference's Ernst Plenary, titled "Environmentally Sustainable MRI Equipment" and facilitated by the society's current president Margaret Hall-Craggs, MD, and previous president Derek Jones, PhD.
