Lung Transplant

The patient pictured in the CXR below underwent unilateral lung transplant surgery for severe emphysema. The native emphysematous lung is on the left. The normal transplanted lung is on the right. There is slight shift of the mediastinal structures away from the emphysematous lung into the right hemithorax.
