Contrast agent developer E-Z-EM has promoted Michael Dellario to managing director for Asia. Dellario takes on his new role from E-Z-EM's international operations department, where he served as sales and marketing director, Asia, for both E-Z-EM and its AngioDynamics subsidiary.
Dellario will be responsible for developing business in Japan, China, and the entire Pacific Rim. He will also establish and maintain relationships with key distributors, as well as assume direct responsibilities for the Westbury, NY, firm's Toho Kagaku Kenkyusho Japanese subsidiary. In addition, Dellario will reorganize Toho from a manufacturing-based organization to a sales and marketing group, according to E-Z-EM.
