Dental technology developer PracticeWorks has completed its acquisition of Trophy Radiologie of Marne-la-Vallée, France, from its parent company, Thermo Electron of Waltham, MA. Trophy develops dental digital radiology technology, including a line of x-ray and panoramic imaging systems, as well as intraoral cameras.
Under the terms of the transaction, PracticeWorks paid approximately $51 million in cash to acquire Trophy, and Trophy has become a wholly owned European subsidiary of Atlanta-based PracticeWorks, according to the firm.
