BSD develops MicroThermX 100

Brachytherapy and hyperthermia therapy developer BSD Medical of Salt Lake City has developed a new microwave thermal ablation system, MicroThermX 100.

The product is being prepared for submission for U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance and is intended for the use of thermal ablation of cancerous tissue, according to the firm.
