Carestream announces executive team, corporate structure

Carestream Health has introduced its leadership team, led by CEO Kevin Hobert and other former Kodak Health Group executives.

Carestream's Dental Systems unit will be led by president Richard Hirschland, while Digital Capture Solutions will be headed by president Michael Marsh. The Healthcare Information Solutions business will be led by president Michael Jackman, while the Medical Films and Printing Solutions unit will directed by president Marco Bucci. Carestream's Molecular Imaging Systems business will be led by president Shahram Hejazi.

Other Carestream executives include chief financial officer (CFO) and vice president Michael Pomeroy, chief supply chain and logistics officer Michael Ducey, chief personnel officer Janine Kilty, chief technology officer (CTO) Holly Hillberg, general manager of medical solutions world wide sales and services Claudio Villarino, chief purchasing officer Richard Morabito, general counsel and secretary James Quinn, and chief information officer (CIO) Eileen Wirley.

In other Carestream news, the Rochester, NY-based firm has inked agreements with a number of healthcare institutions that will serve as Carestream Center of Excellence sites. These sites include Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in Long Beach, CA; Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario; Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY; University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY; and Borg Imaging Group in Rochester, NY.

Carestream Centers of Excellence outside of North America include ABC Hospital in Mexico City; Uppsala University Hospital in Uppsala, Sweden; Fondation Hôpital Saint-Joseph in Paris; Florence Nightingale Krankenhaus Kaiserswerth in Düsseldorf, Germany; Grupo Hospitalario Quirón in Madrid, Spain; USL Ferrara - Lagosanto Hospital in Lagosanto, Italy; Santa Maria Nuova Hospital in Reggio Emilia, Italy; Al-Sabah Hospital in Kuwait City, Kuwait; Hunter New England Health in New South Wales, Australia; and Kansai Medical University Hirakata Hospital in Osaka, Japan.
