Contrast media developer Mallinckrodt said it has made two new leadership appointments in the wake of its recent acquisition of pharmaceutical firm Questcor.
Dr. Gary Phillips, Mallinckrodt's current senior vice president and chief strategy officer, has been appointed senior vice president of the firm's autoimmune and rare disease business.
In addition, Ray Furey, who was Questcor's senior vice president and chief compliance officer, has been given the same title at Mallinckrodt. Furey will also join Mallinckrodt's executive committee and report as needed to its board of directors. Both appointments are effective immediately, the company said.
