Private equity firm TVM Capital Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers have formed a partnership to improve patient access to quality care in Southeast Asia.
TVM Capital is focused on emerging markets, and the strategic partnership is aimed at spurring growth of innovative healthcare companies in Southeast Asia. Under the agreement, TVM Capital's portfolio companies in the region will be able to leverage Siemens Healthineers' expertise in the medical technology industry, the firm said.
Siemens will also provide access to its consulting hub in Singapore to provide consulting on healthcare strategy and the development of centers of excellence in key areas such as oncology, cardiology, and neurology, TVM Capital said.
The collaboration was announced in Singapore on September 23 at an inaugural event for the TVM Healthcare Institute, a think tank network of top executives, key influencers, and other visionaries in the healthcare industry.
