Marconi to provide multislice CT to Broadlane.com

Marconi Medical Systems has signed a deal to become the exclusive provider of multislice CT scanners to Broadlane.com, which will offer the systems for its BuyPower group purchasing organization for hospitals.

BuyPower is owned by Tenet Healthcare. The one-year contract began September 1, and evolved from an existing relationship between Marconi and Tenet, according to Cleveland-based Marconi.
