Siemens sells first Smile CT scanner

Siemens Medical Systems has announced that the Cleveland Clinic Foundation has purchased the first Somatom Smile CT scanner online through the Iselin, NJ-based vendor’s Web site. Siemens is selling the single-slice spiral CT scanner exclusively over the Internet.
