Medical imaging manufacturer Marconi Medical Systems has been awarded a six-month MR and CT purchasing contract by AmeriNet , a St. Louis-based healthcare group purchasing organization. The deal allows AmeriNet member institutions to buy the Cleveland-based vendor’s multislice CT scanners and MR imaging systems at special pricing options.
Over its term the agreement could net as much as $30 million in revenues for Marconi, according to the firm.
