CMS puts FocalSim into action

Three-dimensional-treatment planning firm Computerized Medical Systems of St. Louis has reported the first clinical use of its FocalSim PC-based virtual CT simulation software. Gibbs Regional Cancer Center in Spartanburg, SC, and Lynn Regional Cancer Center of Boca Raton, FL, have integrated their CT scanners with CMS’ Focus treatment planning system, according to CMS.
