Contrast injector provider Medrad has unveiled a new CT syringe loader. The loader allows users to fill contrast syringes outside the scanner room and load the amount of contrast agent needed for each patient, according to the Indianola, PA-based vendor.
The loader is compatible with Medrad's EnVision, Vision, and MCT Plus vascular injectors and syringes, Medrad said. It can be mounted on a wall near contrast and supplies, and can be quickly dismantled for cleaning, according to the firm.
