Siemens begins 16-slice CT shipments

Siemens Medical Solutions has begun deliveries of its Somatom Sensation 16 CT scanner. Debuted at the 2001 RSNA meeting, the 16-slice system is commercially available and has been installed as a released product in U.S. facilities, according to the Iselin, NJ-based vendor.
