Physician Partnerships International (PPI) of Alpharetta, GA, reported that it has begun to take prelease applications for the use of 64-slice CT through its wholly owned subsidiary, Cardiology Imaging Associates.
PPI said that each facility to house the systems will be built after a reasonable number of prelease options have been accepted.
Although most of its 64-slice CT programs are geared toward cardiologists and the radiologists, other physicians who are willing to undertake the proper training and certification are also eligible to lease, PPI said.
