Dental imaging firm AFP Imaging said it has entered negotiations to acquire Italian dental CT technology developer Quantitative Radiology (QR).
Execution of a final agreement to acquire the Verona-based firm is expected soon, according to AFP of Elmsford, NY. QR has installed more than 300 of its dental CT systems worldwide in the last few years, AFP said.
While finalizing the agreement, the firms have executed three-year distribution agreements for the territories of Canada and Latin America (excluding Brazil). Upon closing of the acquisition, AFP will have exclusive worldwide control of the distribution of QR products, according to the vendor.
