Mercury Computer Systems of Chelmsford, MA, has inked a multiunit, multiyear agreement with Koning of Rochester, NY.
Koning is developing the conebeam CT system for breast and extremities imaging. The system is designed to produce high spatial and isotropic resolution to provide enhanced diagnostic information.
Koning will incorporate Mercury's Visage VR volume-rendering components, Visage WS workstation, and Visage CS client/server for improved imaging workflow. Koning will be able to visualize image data locally and transfer the data to various locations including Rochester, and at other breast centers around the country.
