Toshiba America Medical Systems has formed an educational partnership for cardiac CT training with CVCTA Education and San Francisco Advanced Medical Imaging, a subsidiary of imaging center operator Liberty Pacific Medical Imaging.
The training program curriculum consists of several elements, including hands-on manipulation and reading of cardiac CT images, daily clinical read-out sessions, and online testing applications, according to the companies. It will also offer as many as 64 units of continuing medical education credit.
Tustin, CA-based Toshiba recently installed an Aquilion 64 CFX CT scanner at San Francisco Advanced Medical Imaging.
