40-slice CT of newborn

MDCT of 1-day-old newborn found to have engorged pulsating bilateral carotid arteries and heart failure. The MDCT shows dural AV fistula supplied by ophthalmic arteries and bilateral middle meningeal arteries. The radiation dose and contrast injection are precisely adjusted. For radiation dose, the DLP is 40. For contrast injection, contrast-covering time (CCT) concept is used.
