Toshiba America Medical Systems of Tustin, CA has signed an agreement with CVCTA Education, a medical educational program provider, to provide a peripheral vascular CTA (PV-CTA) training course.

The training will be offered at CVCTA training centers in San Francisco, New York, and Houston several times per month; the first course will start in September 2007, and will include both online learning and in-person training using Toshiba Aquilion CT scanners.

The course will exceed current level 2 requirements from the American College of Cardiology Foundation/American Heart Association in the ACCF/AHA Clinical Competence Statement on Cardiac Imaging with CT and MRI.
