(Booth 4720) Taking center stage in the E-Z-EM booth at this year's RSNA show will be EZ Chem, a handheld blood analyzer designed to help clinicians assess renal function and prevent contrast reactions by measuring creatinine levels.
On the information technology side, IRiS 2.0 is the newest version of E-Z-EM's injector reporting system software. IRiS works with the company's Empower CT and MR contrast injectors, and enables users to track factors such as patient ID, creatinine values, GFR measurements, type of contrast used, and number of contrast extravasations.
Finally, look for Lake Success, NY-based E-Z-EM to highlight the virtual colonoscopy products that were used in the recently completed National CT Colonography Trial (ACRIN 6664), including the ProtoCO2l carbon dioxide insufflator and Tagitol stool-tagging agent.
