Hitachi debuts 16-slice CT scanner at RSNA

Hitachi Medical Systems America of Twinsburg, OH, introduced its 16-slice ECLOS16 CT scanner at this week's RSNA 2007 meeting in Chicago.

The high-efficiency small-footprint scanner is designed to meet the needs of imaging centers and community hospitals for noncardiac CT scanning. The system requires as little as 240 sq ft of site space, and the warranty includes the x-ray tube regardless of use level. Optional 3D advanced visualization applications from TeraRecon of San Mateo, CA, are also available.
