Caliper adds microCT system

Drug discovery and life sciences product developer Caliper Life Sciences of Hopkinton, MA, has unveiled Quantum FX, a standalone microCT system for preclinical imaging.

Quantum FX is a low-dose microCT system designed to provide a 3D anatomical view of disease activity, tumor development, and therapeutic response over multiple time points during the course of a study.

Quantum FX uses CT technology from Rigaku of the Woodlands, TX, to create high-resolution 3D images with minimal x-ray exposure.
