Elsevier partners with ASRT on CT education

Medical information publisher Elsevier has partnered with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) to provide continuing education material, the company said.

Elsevier and ASRT will offer a series of CT modules through Mosby's Imaging Suite for technologists' continuing education. Hospitals will be able to license CT Basics modules through the Imaging Suite and allow access to radiological staff.

The CT Basics series consists of 10 modules and provides radiologic technologists with an overview of CT fundamentals, including equipment and instrumentation; data acquisition, applications, imaging processing, and reconstruction; patient safety, imaging quality, and procedures; and sectional anatomy and pathology, Elsevier said.
