Min joins Cedars-Sinai

Cardiac imaging expert Dr. James Min has joined the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute in Los Angeles as director of cardiac imaging research and co-director of cardiac imaging.

As one of cardiac imaging's most noted researchers, particularly in the area of coronary CT angiography and the effect of coronary heart disease on at-risk populations, Min was principal investigator in several multicenter trials and has authored more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed academic medical journals. Min is the current president of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT).

At Cedars-Sinai, Min has a joint appointment in the department of imaging and the department of biomedical sciences in the Biomedical Research Imaging institute, Cedars-Sinai said in an August 24 statement.

Min previously served as an assistant professor of medicine in cardiology and the director of cardiac CT labs at Weill Cornell Medical College and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
