Siemens lands 1st U.S. Definition Edge install

Siemens Healthcare has completed the first U.S. installation of its Somatom Definition Edge CT scanner at NYU Langone Medical Center.

Cleared in June 2012, Definition Edge features a single-source design with new detector technology and software algorithms intended to reduce radiation dose, according to NYU Langone.
