The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared artificial intelligence (AI) healthcare company Viz.ai's Viz CTP image-processing software that views and analyzes CT perfusion images.
With the FDA's clearance of the software, the firm now offers perfusion analysis to complement its portfolio, consisting of automated large vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke identification, stroke triage and LVO notification, patient selection, HIPAA-compliant communication, mobile medical image viewing, and transport coordination.
