Chronos Imaging has shipped its 100th CT x-ray tube, two months after acquiring an Aurora, IL, manufacturing plant from Philips Healthcare.
Philips sold the facility to Chronos in February of this year, with Chronos agreeing to continue to produce CT tubes for Philips and sell them under the Dunlee name. Dunlee is a Philips subsidiary that previously occupied the plant.
Chronos also said it has received its U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) license; additional local, state, and federal licenses; and its ISO 13485 medical device certification as part of its regulatory program.
