Siemens Healthineers plans to debut a cardiovascular version of its Somatom go.Top CT scanner at the upcoming American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in New Orleans.
The 128-slice scanner is designed to personalize patient radiation dose across a variety of cardiovascular imaging applications, including coronary CT angiography (CCTA) and HeartFlow FFR-CT Analysis software. Its features include Care kV, which optimizes kV setting for each patient, and Siemens' Check&Go algorithm, which helps identify anatomical coverage and contrast distribution problems as they happen, the company said.
