Siemens Healthineers has received a license from Health Canada for its Mobilett Elara Max mobile x-ray system.
Elara Max, which was first introduced at RSNA 2018, features an antimicrobial coating, a comprehensive security package, virtual workstation technology that enables installation of additional hospital software, and the same user interface found across the firm's Max line of x-ray systems, according to Siemens. The company received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for the system in March.
