South Korean artificial intelligence (AI) developer Vuno has received approval from the country's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its AI-driven CT system that detects pulmonary nodules.
The Vuno Med Lung CT AI system aims to help diagnose lung cancer by quickly detecting and quantifying the size and volume of pulmonary lesions based on CT images. The system previously received approval in Japan in 2019 following a series of multicenter clinical trials in three major hospitals.
