Conebeam CT technology developer CurveBeam announced that the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine's Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation in Iowa City will serve as a clinical trial site for its HiRise weight-bearing CT system.
HiRise offers high-resolution, Conebeam CT imaging of the lower extremities, including the hip and pelvis. It is currently for investigational use only.
The university will begin clinical trials this summer, the company said.
