Bone densitometry vendor Norland Medical Systems reported revenues of $2.2 million in its second quarter, down 43% compared with the $3.8 million posted last year. For the quarter (end-June 30), the White Plains, NY-based firm had a net loss of $604,000, compared with a net loss, including non-recurring charges, of $11.9 million in 2000. Absent the non-recurring charges, Norland would have had a net loss of $517,000 in the second quarter of 2000.
