Kodak releases new CR system, DR operator console

Eastman Kodak has released several new products during its third quarter. A new computed radiography introduction, 2000RT CR System for Oncology, acquires simulations, portal localization, and verification images using CR, according to the Rochester, NY-based vendor. The system is available in the U.S., and will be released in selected countries by the end of the year.

Kodak has also released DirectView Operator Console for its DR 5000 and DR 9000 systems. The new operator console features the vendor's DirectView EVP software for image quality improvements, as well as a touch-screen monitor. It is available in countries where Kodak DR systems are marketed. The company is also launching a new promotion for its film portfolio.
