Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has signed a three-year agreement with National Healthcare Distributors as a preferred vendor, allowing NHD shareholders to sell Fuji computed radiography (CR) and other products.
The program extends the August 2000 agreement between Stamford, CT-based Fuji and Cleveland-based NHD, which gave NHD shareholders the opportunity to distribute Fuji medical imaging films.
NHD is owned and operated by 27 regional suppliers of medical imaging products with more than $700 million in sales, collectively.
Fuji will provide sales and service training to NHD shareholders on the imagers and other equipment covered in the agreement. Plans are in place for NHD shareholders to be trained on Fuji SmartCR.
