Colombia buys Wuestec DR for contraband screening

Digital radiography provider Wuestec Medical has supplied Bogota's Eldorado Airport in Colombia with its DR system. The Colombian airport is using the equipment for on-the-spot screening of people suspected of traveling with contraband substances, according to Wuestec of Mobile, AL. Every day at the airport, about 100 people are x-rayed and two to three drug traffickers are caught, according to the vendor.
