Medical imaging firm Analogic has appointed Mervat Faltas, vice president of operations for the firm's Quebec-based Anrad subsidiary, as president of that company.
Prior to joining Anrad, Faltas served as president and CEO of ITF Optical Technologies, a designer and manufacturer of photonics solutions.
Anrad develops, manufactures, and integrates direct-conversion x-ray detectors and associated electronics subsystems for DR applications, Analogic said.
Mervat succeeds Sorin Marcovici, a vice president of Analogic, who will be returning to the firm's headquarters in Peabody, MA.
