Ferrania Technologies, based in Cairo Montenotte, Italy, will show its LifeInVision DR 942 digital radiography system at this year's show.

LifeInVision DR 942 builds on the LifeInVision DR 961, and is optimized for variable-focus chest examinations, extremities, and skull and spinal examinations, and for handling patients on stretchers using the overhead x-ray tube and vertical stand.

Like other Ferrania systems, LifeInVision DR 942 uses an amorphous silicon flat-panel detector technology that utilizes a square 43 x 43-cm Trixell Pixium 4600 plate.
